Is your facility ready for a full reopening? This might help.

Is your facility ready for a full reopening? This might help.

Unlike a month ago, we’re starting to see glimpses of good news regarding getting back to normalcy. The football draft tonight (albeit virtual), some beaches reopening, (with proper social distancing of course), and some resorts and businesses planning on opening in a few weeks. We may be even able to get a real haircut before we know it. This optimism against a backdrop of continued COVID-19 related deaths and hospitalization is a surreal reality.

Soon enough, condominium and municipal pools will be open again for patrons, with proper social distancing of course. From what we understand, owners expect the season to come back full force before long, and now we have to wonder if we’ll be ready. Here are some things to consider, including some recommendations and special offers to help us all get prepared.

Virtual Pool School: CES is proud to announce a new way to train – Virtual Pool School. This is social distancing compliant for sure. Utilizing online video formats and service web cams, we can train your team in groups, large or small. Popular topics might include: Working with your CES control system, Servicing your Stenner feeder, Working with your tablet chlorination system, and  more.

Lead Times: Manufacturers are already reporting longer lead times as equipment orders come in and as they ramp their factories back up to full speed.  We’re already seeing some delays on small parts shipments which are a bit frustrating, but there’s nothing we can do about it but keep our stock at a higher level, and think ahead.

Field Service: Service departments are already getting booked up for early summer time slots. We can’t fully know what to expect, but the bottom line is that we all want to be prepared.  You can click below to schedule a service call for the coming days or weeks, to make sure that you are all ready.

The service team is recommending that facilities not postpone needed or scheduled installations or services. Not only do repairs and replacements normally cost more if things are allowed to break and deteriorate, but we are concerned that our schedules and parts availability are going to get even crazier Post-Pandemic. If you have a budgetary issue, we can work together and come up with a game plan.

New Specials: To help get your facilities ready we are proud to introduce a discounted service special. For only $99, we will dispatch an experienced factory certified technician to either calibrate and service your chemistry control system, or to tune up your chemical feed system
